IPTV Smarters Pro setup, step by step
Get the right version for your screen
Android TV and phones: Google Play. Fire OS sticks: sideload with Downloader, as the Firestick guide shows. Samsung and LG: look in the app store built into the TV. iPhone, iPad and Apple TV: Smarters Player Lite by WHMCS SMARTERS. Windows and Mac: the installers on the official site.
Pick Login with Xtream Codes API
Accept the terms on first launch and choose the Xtream Codes option. Leave the M3U option alone unless MIPTV4K support asks you to use it, because the Xtream sign-in gives you catch-up and a fuller guide.
Add the MIPTV4K user
Give the profile any display name. Paste in the server URL with http:// and the port, followed by your username and password from WhatsApp. Select Add User and wait for the dashboard to appear.
Load the TV guide
Channels, films, series and EPG data download on first sign-in. If Live TV shows no programme details, open Settings, find the EPG section and start a refresh, then give it a few minutes.
Set decoding for live sport
Open Settings, Player Settings, keep the built-in player selected and set it to hardware decoding. If one channel stutters, switch just that channel to software decoding from the in-player menu rather than changing the whole app.
Build a match-day favourites list
Long-press a channel to add it to Favourites, then open Favourites before kick-off instead of scrolling every group. Use Catch Up on supported channels when you miss the first half.
Common IPTV Smarters Pro problems and how to fix them
Account expired message
The end date of your plan has passed. Renew on WhatsApp and the same username and password start working again within minutes.
Empty channel list after sign-in
Refresh from the dashboard or sign out and back in. A list that stays empty usually means a wrong server URL, most often a missing or incorrect port number.
Smarters closes on its own on a Firestick
Go to Fire TV Settings, Applications, Manage Installed Applications, select IPTV Smarters Pro and clear the cache. Reopen it, and if crashes continue, install the latest build.
